Here are some screen shots of LunarCal. To gain a more detail understanding of the terms and screen descriptions you should view the "User's Guide" page (click above tab).

  LunarCal's main screen displays the Chinese Lunar calendar for the selected lunar month. This is the default startup screen. 

 

  The Sexagenary Cycle, animal sign, Chinese date, and major Chinese festivals are also displayed against the current Gregorian date. Local time is your PC time!  This is the Summary Screen.

 

  10 Celestial Stems & 12 Earthly Branches. Pairing them sequentially gives 60 pairs which constitute a complete Sexagenary Cycle.

 

  This screen shows the Moon phase for the complete year at Greenwich (GMT).

 

  This screen shows the 1st (new moon) and 15th day of the lunar month for the complete lunar year. The number of days in the lunar months is also shown. 

 

  The 11 previous Chinese New Years + current Chinese New Year are shown.

 

  Lunar years of You - The Rooster (Fowl). The corresponding Chinese ages are dynamically calculated based on your current PC datetime.

 

  This is the "Moon compass" screen. It shows the actual position (altitude & azimuth) of the Moon, the phase and degree of illumination as seen from the nominated city at the specified time.
