LunarCal User's Guide - Add
& Modify City Parameters
Note:
Starting with version 5.10, a new format city
database is used - Location.DB. The old Location.Dat file is no longer
used. If you have modified the old text database
Location.Dat then you will need to re-enter the changes into the new database Location.DB.
After adding or modifying cities, you must hit the SAVE button
to save the data to the database. Hitting the OK button only will save the new
information for current session's use. You must go to the menu and save the
Database for the changes to be permanent.

LunarCal now allows a graphical interface to add a new city.
City and Country names should be non-blank. LunarCal does not check for
duplicates. You may safely ignore the Type parameter - Radio, Infrared &
Laser - these are just notes describing what type of observatory the
location is.
If you do not know your location's longitude and latitude
you may visit the following sites:-
It is important that you enter the correct latitude &
longitude for your required location or else the calendar may not be correct. This
is especially so for the display of moon phase, rise & set times and moon
compass. However, the enumerated Chinese calendars are always accurate
regardless of the selected location.
Modify Existing City's
Parameters

You can modify / change the parameters of any city.
Deleting a City

You can also delete unwanted cities to remove clutter.
All the changes you make is kept in PC
memory temporarily and is lost when you exit the program. If you want to keep the changes
made, you must save the database by clicking "Save Database"
